Staff Member: Joe Bogushefsky
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, I am Deacon Joe! My wife Jan & I will have been married this December 27th for 50 years. We have raised six children and have been blessed with eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, thus far. I was ordained in May of 2008, sponsored by our Pastor Fr. Abrán while at St. Christopher Parish. Jan received her Lay Ecclesial Minister’s Certificate, also in May of 2008.
I’m extremely honored to be here at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, and even more so to be assisting not only my Pastor, but my mentor and dear friend as well. I hope that you will be patient with us getting to know you. Speaking only for myself, mind you, I’m not very good at remembering names. I think age has a lot to do with it.
As some of you already know I am heavily involved with the Diocese of Tucson charity Poverty 24/6 “Give Poverty a Day Off”, for which I am Director, that provides food, clothing, and furniture, to those in need.
As I get more involved here at St. Margaret Mary, I look forward to praying with you as the Body of Christ.
May God continue to bless you with His abundant gifts.
